Today, Stephen and I worked on the cardboard model of the robot. The main objective of this robot is to collect and transmit water quality data, which (hopefully) can be accessed by anyone at anytime.

Our project aims to help with the dredging efforts by addressing the issue with the stumps. Today I sketched some potential models using our previous list of ideas. One of the bots would place explosives on the stumps, while the other would scoop dirt around the stumps to free the roots, making removing them easier.

Lake Sphere Mega Pollution Bot

Today, I sketched out my idea for a Spherical Swamp bot. I think this idea would be great, as it could test for metals, chemicals, or changes in PH levels. My next step needs to be figuring out how to model the difficult shape.

The main goal of the Duckbot is to take in petroleum infected water, filter it, and spit it back out clean. Today I created the cardboard body, neck, and head of my Duckbot. I need to figure out what mechanisms it is going to use to move through the water.
